This episode of this anime-inspired series opens with Rainbow Ren, a young teen girl in a miniskirt who works as a newspaper reporter, as she runs into the purple ninjas having an illegal smoke break in a section of the mall. Jimmy Chow, now working at Hot Gothic, a seller of rock and rap paraphernalia, later beats up and kills an army of purple ninjas.
