ChangeEverything.ca is an online community where people in Vancouver, Victoria and the Lower Mainland can find information, tools and connections to inspire and support change in their own lives, their communities and the world. Vancity plugged in to the arena of social media by launching a website intended to inspire personal, community and global change.

Design Can Change is an effort to bring together the world’s graphic design community to address the issues surrounding climate change. Designers craft much of the world’s products/media and as such are well positioned to build awareness around this issue while encouraging more sustainable industry practices.

New York City may or may not be the center of the world, but NYChildren, a new photo series, is providing documentary evidence that the Big Apple sits at the world's crossroads. There are 192 countries out there (by one calculation), and the project aims to capture an image of a child from each. The caveat? All the children must now live in New York.

Based on a civil-war era poem by Elizabeth Akers Allen, an ancestor of singer/songwriter Sianna Lyons this video is a call for peace, shot by and featuring Bill Posley, a 23 yr old veteran of the conflict.
